Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche’s 45th Bodhgaya visit

Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche recently completed what is approximately his 45th annual visit to Bodhgaya, where he has been teaching young students from the United States for many years. Each year, students of the Carlton Program spend months in rigorous Buddhist studies, guided by teachers from various traditions, with Rinpoche offering the final concluding teachings of their program.
This year’s visit included acts of generosity, offering food and funds to those in need in the Bodhgaya area, lighting butter lamps for the welfare of all beings, taking refuge and Bodhisattva vows under the Bodhi Tree, and making a group offering to the main statue of Lord Buddha.
