Staying connected in a very human way
It has long been Rinpoche’s desire to associate the names and faces of his students, as most messages he receives from his students include only their names.
For this reason, in 2017 we created the Shedrub Mandala Student Sign-Up — a private space where students can upload their photo and basic information.
(Original post from 2017) This allows Rinpoche to personally browse through the faces and names of his students on his private device, so that he can readily recognize and connect faces with names within his mandala.
Who can sign up?
If you have received teachings from Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche, in any context or at any time, and you wish to stay connected, you are warmly invited to join the Shedrub Mandala Student community.
There is no obligation involved — this is simply a way to stay connected with Rinpoche in a private way.
What happens with your information?
Your trust is very important to us.
- The personal information and photo you submit are kept confidential and handled with care
- Your photo and basic details are made available only to Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche, for his personal reference
- We do not make your information public
- This login is shared between DharmaSun and Shedrub for convenience. However, your information is kept strictly within Shedrub and is not shared with any other organization.
When signing up, you may choose to subscribe to newsletters related to Rinpoche’s activities. If you do, your name and email address may be shared only within the Shedrub Mandala — for example with related institutions such as Rangjung Yeshe Institute, Ka-Nying Shedrub Ling Monastery, or affiliated Gomde and Dharma centers — solely for the purpose of sending you the information you have chosen to receive.
This is entirely optional and always your choice. You can update your preferences or unsubscribe from communications at any time.
About newsletters and language
By selecting one or more areas of interest in the form, you may receive updates related to those aspects of Rinpoche’s mandala. At present, these Shedrub Mandala–related communications are sent in English.
You may already receive other newsletters from DharmaSun in different languages. These are managed separately and may overlap in content.
We plan to offer Mandala-related updates in additional languages in the future. When this becomes available, you will be able to subscribe to one or more languages according to your preference.
