Shedrub

This past week Rinpoche, accompanied by disciples from Nepal, traveled to Bodhgaya, where Lord Buddha attained Enlightenment under a Bodhi tree. At the Brumese Vihar Rinpoche has been teaching students from the Carleton College study abroad program, where he has been a visiting teacher since 1984. Rinpoche gave the students profound teachings and refuge and bodhisattva vows, made offerings of flowers and lamps at the Mahabodhi Temple, gave food and money to those in need and visited Tergar Monastery to see a group of nuns training in debate.
